Raw material, energy and packaging
All raw materials, energy and packaging materials used in our manufacturing facilities in the NAFTA region are managed by our raw materials strategic sourcing group.
The team is located in our US headquarters in King of Prussia, PA and works hand-in-hand with our local and area procurement staff and Arkema global procurement staff to develop sourcing strategies for these categories. Our objective is to be a global sourcing network for raw materials, energy, and packaging. We strive to understand our businesses strategic plans and directives as well as their current and future needs for chemical purchasing and then seek to form strategic supplier relationships to meet these needs.
Questions on becoming an Arkema approved raw material supplier can be directed to

Supplier assessment program
Arkema Inc. has pledged to manage its business, including supplier selection, in accordance with the principles of Responsible Care®. Arkema is committed to a continuous improvement approach concerning safety and the protection of health and the environment, with three paramount objectives:
- control industrial risks, minimize the impact of its activities on the environment, and conserve natural resources;
- optimize product management throughout their lifecycle;
- integrate industrial activities more effectively within their local context.
To help us achieve these objectives, Arkema requires each supplier of a raw material or packaging
material used in one of our manufacturing processes to participate in our supplier assessment program.
This program is designed to evaluate the suppliers’ management systems, and is in conjunction with, but separate from a technical evaluation and approval of the raw material by the plant location.
Please complete the questionnaire and submit it via fax at 610-205-7263, Attention: Purchasing,
or via email to Arkema.email@example.com.
Suppliers are also asked to submit an MSDS for any products supplied to Arkema, as well as any certifications such as ISO, C-TPAT or NACD.
Credit reviews may be conducted on new suppliers of raw materials and packaging.
Credit references will be required.
