Rio Claro, Brazil production plant

The Rio Claro, Brazil plant produces liquid organic peroxides that are used primarily in the production of plastic resins, polystyrene, polyethylene, polypropylene, PVC and polyester reinforced fiberglass, and acrylic resins.

Our plant also produces a variety of crosslinking peroxides that are used primarily in the production of elastomers and benzoyl peroxide used in acne medication and polystyrene. Additionally, we have a gas odorant and refrigerant gas filling station on site. Gas odorant blends are marketed by the Rio Claro plant to odorize odorless gases such as natural gas and liquefied petroleum gas. Refrigerant gases are marketed by the Rio Claro plant and are used wherever cooling or refrigeration are required, including home air conditioners and heat pumps, automobiles, commercial refrigeration, industrial refrigeration, chillers, and etc.
