Investment in health, environment and safety

$600,000 in improvements in health, safety, and environmental, including

  • Process safety, capacity and engineering.
  • Mechanical Integrity projects and programs designed to improve the infrastructure.
  • Personnel training and development
  • Tanker loading improvements
  • Any liquid (including rain water) that is generated at our facility is collected, tested and sent to the LA Sanitation County Industrial Wastewater facility for treatment.
  • Tank vents from all reactor trains & monomer storage tanks are sent to a permitted Incinerator/Vent treatment system to minimize/eliminate vapor emissions. Mechanical piping joints are periodically fugitive emissions tested for integrity and AQMD compliance rules.
  • To reduce waste generation, off-grade latex is sold to other companies for use in industrial applications.
