In partnership with Agiplast, a pioneer in the manufacturing and regeneration of engineering plastic compounds, Arkema’s Technical Polymers business announces a new program to recycle high performance polyamides and PVDF fluoropolymers.
Michael COUDYSER, CEO of Corsica Sole, an innovator in photovoltaics, and Pascal MILLET, Director of the Arkema plant in Saint-Auban, has inaugurated a solar power plant within this plant, in the presence of René MASSETTE, President of the Departmental Council of Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. This solar power plant is one of the first ones in France to be integrated into the very heart of a Seveso-classified industrial site.
The American Chemistry Council (ACC) recently honored Arkema Inc. with an Energy Efficiency Award with an “Exceptional Merit” award designation. This recognizes the company’s ambitious goals and measurable achievements in energy efficiency.

By offering resins and thermoplastic materials for the manufacture of recyclable composites, Arkema is committed to addressing the major environmental challenges of end-of-life composites.
Arkema is one of 15 global suppliers recognized by the famous German car-maker for innovation, specifically in high performance polymers derived from sustainable castor oil. Our leadership role in the Pragati initiative played a major role.
Arkema Malaysia Thiochemicals, Arkema’s subsidiary in Malaysia, and the Monash University Malaysia (MUM) in Kuala Lumpur have signed a research partnership over 3 years of collaboration during which time MUM researchers will be able to make their resources available to the local Arkema teams. The goal: to develop more efficient biocatalysts for Arkema’s Thiochemicals business.
